From 11 to 13 September 2025, Freie Universität Berlin hosted the Annual Conference of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) under the theme “Reconstructing International Law.”

On 8 September 2025, the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law hosted a conference “Bohdan Winiarski and His Views in the Context of 20th-Century International Law”.

The project “Implementation of the international study programme Una Europa Joint Bachelor in Sustainability” at the Jagiellonian University, funded by NAWA under the KATAMARAN programme, supports the development of an international sustainability degree. Jagiellonian University has officially been granted special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The 2026 ESIL Research Forum, organized by the European Society of International Law (ESIL), will take place on 9–10 April 2026 in Kraków, hosted by the Centre for Advanced Sustainability Studies at the Jagiellonian University.
