dr hab. Piotr Szwedo, prof. UJ

Piotr Szwedo is an Associate Professor of International Public Law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, coordinator of the Una Europa Joint Bachelor in Sustainability project and head of the OKSPO Centre for Foreign Law Schools of the Jagiellonian University. In his scientific work, he focuses on international trade and investment law, water law and sustainability (e.g. Brill 2018, Springer 2019). He gained experience at the University of Cambridge, Columbia Law School, Max Planck Institute of Comparative Public and International Law, Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, University of Kobe, and over a dozen other respected research centres. His recent projects include RONSUS (NCN) and the French-Polish project "Durabilité et le droit" (PHC Polonium).

dr Mariusz Trojak

Coordinator of the financial model for the Una Europa Joint Bachelor in Sustainability

dr Mariusz Trojak

Mariusz Trojak is an assistant professor in the Department of Finance and International Economics (Faculty of Management and Social Communication, JU). He mainly deals with the management, efficiency, and development of financial systems and institutions. The publications and projects in which he participated were related to the analysis of these issues, the institutional development of the university, and the monitoring of the fate of graduates. As part of CASS, Dr. Trojak is in charge of designing the Una Europa Joint Bachelor in Sustainability financial model. This is a complex task due to the number and diversity of partner universities and due to the need to optimise costs while maintaining the highest quality of the programme.

dr Małgorzata Winiarska-Brodowska

Małgorzata Winiarska-Brodowska is an assistant professor at the Department of Journalism and International Communication (Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University). She is interested in diplomacy and communication – not only international and political, but also strategic and organisational communication. She performs, among others, the function of the Dean's Plenipotentiary for quality assurance in education and represents the Jagiellonian University in the Quality Assurance Cluster at Una Europa. As part of CASS, she manages the processes related to the preparation of documentation required in the European Approach procedure, which will be necessary for the accreditation of the Una Europa Joint Bachelor in Sustainability.

mgr Lena Helińska

Coordinator for interdisciplinary projects

mgr Lena Helińska

Lena Helińska is a member of the Una Europa Self-Steering Committee in Sustainability and the Una Europa Task Force for Sustainability and Climate Protection. She is working towards a doctorate through an interdisciplinary programme, focusing on the role of science in public international law. Her interests include but are not limited to defining and implementing sustainability and its indicators, progressive interpretation of law, economic analysis, and risk assessment. Lena participates in a number of research and institutional projects, among which the creation of the Una Europa Joint Bachelor in Sustainability is particularly important. She also coordinates the École de droit français and the Master 2 programme, implemented in cooperation with the Université d'Orléans.
Marcelina Połczyńska

Administrative Officer of the BASUS programme

Marcelina Połczyńska

Marcelina Połczyńska graduated with a BA in English Language and Literature from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and is currently studying towards a master’s degree in Literary Translation at the Jagiellonian University. Her academic interests pertain primarily to historical and political counter-narrativity within 20th and 21st century English-language literature. Within BASUS her work concerns mainly supporting other team members with various logistical and administrative tasks and acting as an intermediary between the students and the BASUS team.
